sound / noise (2007) : sound powered light

With the continued depreciation of our energy resources and the growing noise level of our cities, perhaps we should start harnessing all these noise to satisfy our energy needs, or we can start designing quieter products. The speaker works as a microphone, collecting sound from surrounding and the energy from these sounds is stepped up to power the LED. The electrical setup may not be the most efficient but seek to demonstrate the potential of sound energy.
