The abused tap. Irony is, beaten and battered, this stubborn tap only gets stronger as it's metallic body is cold annealed by the hammering. The battered form creates a 'S' shape curve at the stem of the tap that is used in all gate valves to obstruct water flow. This creates less water flow through the tap and helps saves water.
