In many studies, there is a general trend of decline in the age of puberty amongst girls around the world. In Europe the average age for puberty has fallen to 10.5 with even reported cases of as young as 6. A large part to play is endocrine disrupting chemicals in agricultural pesticides, hormones in meat, steroids, anti depression, and birth control medicines. It raises the risk for childhood violence and sexual abuse and breast cancer and cardiovascular diseases in later stages of life. |
